City of Desitny? Real Estate. Class. Race. Politics. The city of Tacoma is undergoing a major revitaliation, the city is getting cleaned up but at who expense? Hear the voices of Tacoma residents, developers and business owners as they discuss the postive and negative effects of urban renewal, revitalization, and gentrifcation.
The Northwest is well known for steep mountains and deep heavy powder, not so much for overhead barrels and world-class surf. Go on a journey with 2 professional surfers from California as they brave the unchartered shark infested waters of The Great Northwest.
This was a project for The Washington Institute and The Rose House, both local non-profit agencies. The video was used to help the participant Lenora find employment specifically for advocacy of Mental Health. The Washington Institute used the video to promote clubhouses on the national level.
This is a music video/experimental short film that we did just for fun. It features the dark poetic song "What's He Building?"from Tom Waits. The goal of the video was to produce visual images "showing" the lyrcis in the imaginative song. This was a really fun project that flexed my writing and production skills. Thanks to my brother Jon for playing himself and alter-ego.
Meet pioneer filmakers/snowboarders Kurt Jensen and Erik Brandt as they disuss what they love about living and riding in the northwest. These guys have been making snowboarding movies for the better part of 10 years. There films highlight all the surronding ski areas including Stevens Pass, Mt. Baker, and Mt. Rainier.
